Concession Card Holders

Medical Examinations for pre employment, Insurance Policies, Taxi Licence, etc are NON MEDICARE REBATEABLE $250.00 plus, depending on complexity.

Minor procedures, ie. Skin Lesions, Implanon, and Pap Smears- please ask your doctor.

Dressing:

Small – $5

Medium – $10

Large – $20

Extra Large – $30

Procedure/theatre fees will be individually advised

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Carnegie & Malvern Medical Centre is committed to providing its patients with the highest standards of care, for the benefit of each patient’s health and wellbeing. Patients have the right to make informed Decisions regarding their health.

Fees:

Our clinic is private billing. A schedule is below and also located on the reception counter

Bulk billing is available for the following patients, and in some cases for patients with financial difficulties

·Children under age of 16 with a current Medicare Card (EXCEPT ON After hours and on Public Holidays the cost is $95)

· Veterans Affairs

An additional fee is charged for accounts not settled on the day of consultation. Medicare Rebates can be electronically claimed by us at the time of payment for an in person appointment not a phone consultation.  For phone consultations we will provide you with a receipt to make the claim.  The practice accepts Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos.

Please note:

Appointments not kept or cancelled within 24 hours may incur a fee of $50.00.  This fee is not refundable from Medicare
